Please note: This is a carbon steel trowel. The direct advice from Marshalltown states that there are certain guidelines recommended in the care of these trowels otherwise they can/will rust; they cannot be left wet or in cement and must be cleaned and dried properly after every use. Rust is not a manufacturer fault - it is what happens to this specialized type of metal if it is not cared for/used properly. There is also a special oil Marshalltown recommends buying from them to keep the trowels in a perfect, useable condition for longer. So unfortunately because of the manufacturer's policy, we cannot accept returns/refunds if this trowel rusts.
