The DC224KA has a large 19mm optimised hammer mechanism which delivers corded drilling performance and with an efficient and compact gearbox, gives longer runtime. The internal mechanism is connected to external housings via spring dampeners meaning significantly lower vibration and reduced user fatigue.Features include an impact-stop mode for rotary drilling only in wood, ceramic and steel, a rotation stop for light chiselling applications in plaster, tiles and render, an electronic motor brake for additional control, quick release SDS toolholder, a 3 jaw chuck for easy switching between hammer/rotary hammer, a spring loaded battery latch system and a guiderail.
