This Makita BHR200WAE SDS-Plus Hammer Drill is a powerful 3 function cordless SDS+ rotary hammer drill. Its 3 speed functions and forward/reverse adaptability only increase its value as a tool for all occasions. The soft grip, D-handle design with a one touch sliding chuck makes this an extremely easy and comfortable tool to use. This cordless drill can be set to rotary action only, hammer action only and rotary hammer action for drilling into hard surfaces. This 24v Makita SDS+ hammer drill delivers a hefty 2.1 joules of impact energy, allowing you to achieve a maximum drilling depth of 20mm in concrete. Safety is increased by the inclusion of a double insulated cable, electronic brake and a torque limiter.

The charger and battery communicate throughout the charging process through the use of inbuilt chips in the batteries. The charger can monitor the voltage being fed to the battery to prevent overcharging and prolonging the life of the battery. An audio warning signal will tell you exactly when the battery has finished charging.
