Suffering from arthritis, my mother was unable to remove her pull-off hose connectors to switch hoses for her garden watering. This device allows both hoses to be connected and she finds it easy to turn each hose on and off with the brass taps on the connector.
The unit is very well made and solid, unlike many of the plastic hose fittings currently available.
To screw it on to an outside tap you need a reasonable amount of clearance round the tap. Her outside tap was very close to a rainwater downpipe and the clearance was quite tight, especially with the hose connected.
